What We Offer
AFT offers a range of R&D services to meet the needs of every client. Standard R&D projects take anywhere between 1-3 weeks to perform based on the volume of work requested. Our team will send samples of the finished fragrance for your testing and evaluation with the requested regulatory documentation for every fragrance submitted.

We will work with you to design a new fragrance for your market. Whether you have a specific client request, or working off favorable notes, and market trends. We will work directly with you to bring newness to your category and market. Our creation design service takes 1-2 weeks.

Based on specific notes and fragrance families, our team can pull from our existing library of 100,000+ scent designs. Provide us key notes, specific fragrance names, or fragrance family profiles. We will pull similar profiles on-hand, and have compounded and shipped within 3 business days.

If you have a fragrance design that you want to reformulate to work in a separate category, we can revise your existing fragrance to work well in other (Waxes, Bases, PH levels, Detergents, etc.). This service typically takes 1-2 weeks based on the fragrance and application requests.

We can analyze an existing profile in your collection and formulate around a target price point. This service takes around 1-week based on the volume of fragrances submitted.

Send us a 2oz sample of an existing oil in your fragrance catalog. We can replicate your existing fragrance in 2-weeks. We will send you a sample of the finished fragrance oil to test. We will keep your oil on file with a unique custom code for your purchasing department to begin sourcing with.

If you have an oil no longer available we can can extract the fragrance from a finished product, and replicate the fragrance to keep on file for future purchasing. Product extraction services take 2-3 weeks to perform.
Our Process
Plan with Purpose
We will contact you based on your project request submitted. Our team will connect within 24-hours to discuss your project requirements, regulatory needs, and overall project overview.
Collaborate Openly
We keep communication open and decisions shared. If your team needs to submit additional information or change your request we will adapt accordingly. Once your project is approved we will assign a designated perfumer to begin development.
Perfumer Analysis
Our perfumers will evaluate as a team to provide the best scent design per request. You will have a specific perfumer assigned to your account based on the area of the request. We will then work on the overall scent design, regulatory requirements, and any specific design requests.
Finalized Creation & Approval
We will ship your finalized fragrance creation . Once a fragrance is approved your oil will be saved on record for future purchasing. We will not discontinue this fragrance, and you will be able to order as needed with AFT.

Shipping requirements: Customers sending fragrance samples will need to provide 1-2 ounces of product for sufficient replications.
Purchasing requirements: Upon fragrance approval and PO request, AFT has an MOQ of 30-pounds per fragrance. AFT has a 50-pound MOQ for customers purchasing naturally derived, and natural fragrances.
